We are going to start with a short orientation and we will visit the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who is the great founder of the Turkish Republic. You will see the splendor Anatolian archaeological artifacts, exhibited from the Paleolithic Age to the present. Then we will leave you back.

MAUSOLEUM OF ATATURK, THE MUSEUM OF ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATION ALADDIN MOSQUE

Right after we will pick you, we are going to start with a short orientation. We will visit the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who was the great founder of the Turkish Republic. In this spectacular complex, we are going to walk on the Lionized Road, which is opened in to the Monumental Courtyard, crowned with the Hellenistic temple shape mausoleum. Also you are going to have the chance to see the impressive guards ‘changing ceremony’ . Then, we are heading to the “Anatolian Civilizations Museum”, being among exceptional museums with its unique collection, elected as the first “Museum of the Year” in 1997 in Europe. You will see the splendor Anatolian archaeological artifacts, exhibited from the Paleolithic Age to the present. The monumental tomb of King Midas is one of these. We are going to have a lunch in a local restaurant near the castle where you are going to have a chance to taste the local foods. Then, we will proceed to Ethnographical Museum of Ankara where you are going to have a change to see the beautiful collection of museum pieces handicrafts such as carpets, and embroideries also old samples of glassware and woodwork and finally proceed to Kocatepe Mosque which is the principle Mosque of the city completed in the years of 1960 but it is huge and has a good atmosphere inside like you may see the original Royal samples in Istanbul. About late afternoon we are going to take you back to your hotel.

2 Days Cappadocia Tour

UCHISAR, GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM, HUNTER’S VALLEY, AVANOS, UNDERGROUND CITY AND URGUP

DAY 1
We are going to pick you up and take our departure in the morning from your Hotel in road to Capadocia via picturesque Salt Lake which is the second biggest in Turkey where important amount of the salt production has been obtained. Lunch is going to be served in route. When we get there, directly we are heading to the citadel of Uchisar to see the enchanting lunar landscape of the region: “moon -like” topography of Capadocia. Start with the natural, where the wind and the weather have eroded the soft volcanic rock leaving pillars, cones and “Fairy Chimneys” are phenomemenal, especially seen for the first time. Then we are going to have a look at the Hunter’s Valley that is absolutely most beautiful panorama of the entire region. When we finished our program for today we are going to turn to our Hotel for dinner and rest.

DAY 2
After breakfast, departure from the Hotel for touring “underground city” where 1400 years ago the people carved the earth down and created huge complexes in 50 meters deep. 30.000 people live about two years to defend themselves. Continue to the absolutely unique landscape of Goreme with is rock chapels hollowed out by early Christians used as secret dwelling as they were being sought first by their Roman and later by their Byzantine persecutors, decorating with vivid frescoes which have withstood the corrosive effects of the time dating from the 6th to the 10th century is an unforgettable experience. After lunch, we’ll also visit pottery-making village Avanos. Late afternoon we will drive back to Ankara to leave you to your Hotels and ending of our services.

And directly we are heading to the citadel of Uchisar to see the enchanting lunar landscape of the region “moon-like” topography of Capadocia. After lunch, we’ll also visit pottery making village Avanos and the local weaving looms of world famous handcrafts center of the region where the local women created finest carpets in the world for centuries. Late afternoon we will turn back to our Hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3
After breakfast take your departure to Ankara the capital city of Turkey. In road you will have a chance to see the picturesque Salt Lake which is the second biggest in Turkey and important amount of the salt production is obtained. When we get to the city, we are heading to Lunch first. Then, drive to the “Museum of Anatolian Civilization” which is one of the best pre – historic museums of the world. You will see the splendors collection of Asia Minor through out the thousands of years just like the monumental tomb of “King Midas with Golden Touch”. Then we will be driving to the “Mausoleum of Atatürk” the great founder of Turkish Republic. It is a huge Mausoleum complex with the mixture of the architectural style been inspired from the many civilizations. The highlights are the”Lioneded Road” and the Mausoleum itself. When we finished our program in the city, departure for the airport for the flight to Istanbul that will take one hour and leave you back to your Hotels and ending our services.
